Kaleidoverse magic

The program

For four nature-soaked days, we're turning Tian's grandparents' home into a kaleidoscope of colour, music, stories, and dance.

colours mandatory · shoes optional

Guy, Tian & Cosmo invite you to make wonderful memories of love, play, and connection.

This house has held decades of memories. And before we say goodbye to it, we're filling it with you.

Come ready to play.
Come get paint on your fingers, feel the grass underfoot and love in your heart.

Colours mandatory. Shoes optional. Bring your spark.

Thursday

Set up & potluck

Bring your hands and your heart. Meet and greet for all the happy campers and extra hands. We'll start with a beautiful sound ceremony and authentic-relating exercise. Then we'll need muscles (moving sound systems, hauling things) and creativity. Calling all decorators to help make the space beautiful.

Potluck rule: everyone makes or brings something. No exceptions. Yes — even if you "can't cook" — get something amazing. We'll know.

Friday

Ceremony & fire jam

This is when we hold the traditional Chinese tea ceremony, the wedding ceremony, and exchanging of vows. There's a special surprise after that as well — which you'll find out about on the day.

Mantravine will lead a collaborative song workshop with everyone. Followed by a fire jam, lighting of the heart, and Mantravine playing their amazing music for us.

For the kids: no fire for little ones — but they can play with other flow toys.

Saturday

The Festival

Magic. Music. Dancing. Performances. Food. Whatever everyone wants to bring. This day belongs to ALL of you. If you have a talent, a game, a poem, a puppet show — this is your moment. Expect performances from Sambiesta and the Jukuleles, as well as more dancing into the night indoors.

It will be loud — bring ear protection for the little ones if you have any.

Sunday

Pack up & goodbyes

We need all hands on deck again to pack things up. Then we play with water and bubbles out on the grass, and end with some singing and lots of hugs. A soft, sweet ending to the Kaleidoverse.

Potluck again: bring something. Eat together. Hug goodbye.

How can you help?

BYOB · but share

Whenever you make yourself a drink,
make an extra one for someone else.

We'll provide some beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. No liquor from us — you're welcome to bring your own to stock the bar. That's the bar policy.

From Singapore

We're looking at you

  • Portable karaoke machine? (YES PLEASE)
  • Gas-BBQ we can borrow for the 11th
  • Lights? Lasers? Disco balls? Decorative things?
  • Toys for the kids' corner
  • A contact for a photo booth or videographer
  • Instruments?

From rest-of-world

Bring a slice of home

  • Your local cheese
  • Something from where you are that you want to share
  • Instruments?

We especially need help with

  • Looking out for the kids. There will be many little ones running around. It takes a village to raise a child — and for four days, we ARE that village.
  • Decorations. Think jungle disco, sparkly and fun. Connection corners and music jam spots. Some heavy lifting required for sound and light systems.
  • Bubbles. We'll have a designated bubbles zone. We need people to keep the bubbles going and top up the solution.
  • Photography & videography. Still figuring out what'll work best.
  • First aid. Who is trained in first aid or is a medical professional — please make yourself known.

Gifts & contributions

Gifts are not necessary.
Your full participation is preferred.

But if you'd like to contribute to the magic, a cash contribution would help us a lot. This is traditionally given in an angpow, or red packet. If you don't have one, a red envelope also works.

One last thing

This house is empty now. It held Tian's childhood, and now it will hold all of us before we say goodbye and hello to this new chapter of our lives. We never thought we'd ever have a wedding, but life is full of surprises — and now you're all a part of it.

So be your awesome self. Laugh with us until it hurts, cry until your snot drips out. Paint something. Sing off-key. Stack that cheese.

Let's build this Kaleidoverse together,
person by person.

See you really soon.
